Operated by Skyline Trail Rides, the Shovel Pass Lodge is located midway along the Skyline Trail. The cozy lodge was originally built in 1921 and now features an additional seven cabins, the property accommodating up to 18 guests. Meals are served in the main lodge. Open seasonally from July to September.

Tonquin Valley Backcountry Lodge

Visitors at Tonquin Valley stay in individual chalets which sleep up to six people on comfortable bunk beds. Chalet furnishings include crackling wood-burning stoves which make the rustic ambience even more cozy. Tonquin Valley trips are limited to 18 people in order to maintain an uncrowded and relaxed atmosphere. Full home cooked meals are available ranging from baked hams and turkey to sizzling barbecued steaks, as well as home baked pies, cakes and bread. Reach Tonquin by hiking or a guided packtrip by horse.

Shovel Pass Backcountry Lodge

Experience the rustic comfort of the oldest backcountry lodge in Jasper National Park. The lodge is located mid way on Skyline trail, therefore an excellent overnight stop for the Hikers of Skyline Trail. All inclusive package available including freight of pack by horses.Lodge facility includes main lodge and 7 individual log cabins. Open July to Mid-September.
