Jasper Trail Rides & Pack Trips
Old Entrance Trail Rides offers scenic trail rides along the Athabasca River valley from their stables at historic Old Entrance, Alberta, just a 50-minute drive from Jasper or a 10-minute drive from Hinton. Guided horseback rides for groups of up to ten riders are offered on gentle horses selected for riders' size and riding experience. Trail rides range from one hour to full day experiences and are available from May 1st through October 31st. Please book in advance.
Horseback Adventures is a family-owned-and-operated business that has offered guided horseback vacations amidst the beauty of Jasper National Park and Rock Lake Solomon Creek Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains since 1979. Hourly trail rides are available, as are full-day adventures. The more adventurous may want to embark on a multi-day trek that includes either cabin accommodation, tent camping or a mixture of both. The multi-day pack trips are all inclusive.
Jasper Park Stables
Jasper Park Stables offers tours by horseback from mid May through September. Venture into areas teeming with wildlife and rife with scenic mountain photo opportunities. Lead by qualified guides, tours are suitable for amateurs and veterans alike. Choose from one-hour, two-hour, three-hour, half-day and full-day tours. They also offer carriage and wagon rides which begin with a meal at a local restaurant and ending with a ride through the Jasper streets.

Tonquin Valley Adventures takes its guests to the backcountry in style. Enjoy the private cabins, down duvets and homecooked meals at the historic Tonquin-Amethyst Lake Lodge. Hike in, take a guided horseback trip or fish in glacier-fed waters. The company also offers exceptional ski touring and Avalanche Awareness Courses in the winter. Tonquin Valley Adventures offers visitors a taste of the Canadian Rockies experience as it was a hundred years ago.

R.D. Zuger Outfitting & Trailrides
R.D. Zuger offers guided trail rides and packtrips for sightseeing, hunting and fishing along the east slopes of the Rockies east of Jasper Natioanl Park and In Willmore Wilderness area. Experienced guide/outfitter (Ralph) is born and raised in the local area and is able to offer locations based on the rider's/hunter's needs. Individuals and groups are welcome. English and German are spoken.
