Old Entrance Trail Rides offers scenic trail rides along the Athabasca River valley from their stables at historic Old Entrance, Alberta, just a 50-minute drive from Jasper or a 10-minute drive from Hinton. Guided horseback rides for groups of up to ten riders are offered on gentle horses selected for riders' size and riding experience. Trail rides range from one hour to full day experiences and are available from May 1st through October 31st. Please book in advance.

Horseback Adventures is a family-owned-and-operated business that has offered guided horseback vacations amidst the beauty of Jasper National Park and Rock Lake Solomon Creek Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains since 1979. Hourly trail rides are available, as are full-day adventures. The more adventurous may want to embark on a multi-day trek that includes either cabin accommodation, tent camping or a mixture of both.
