Edith Cavell Meadows
A popular destination for hikers, this picturesque meadow meanders through wild flower fields, alongside Angel Glacier and its moraine lake and offers spectacular views of Mount Edith Cavell. The trailheads are accessible by driving south of Jasper on Highway 93 to Highway 93A and onward to Cavell road.
Jasper the Bear
Located in downtown Jasper, Jasper the Bear is a landmark of this town. Many tourists will stop and take their photo beside the statue. In 2005, Alberta's Centennial, a Jasper the Bear coin was issued.
Banff/Jasper Parks Boundary
At this boundary located in the Sunwapta Pass, the headquarters of the North Saskatchewan River and the Sunwapta River flow in opposite directions. The site is located 108km (67.5 mi) south of Jasper and 122km (76.25 mi) north of Lake Louise.
Valley of the Five Lakes
A popular hiking circuit among locals and visitors alike, this picturesque trail system is located along the Icefields Parkway just 9km (5.5 mi) from the traffic lights in Jasper. Highlights along the 5 km (3 mi) circuit include rambling creeks, five lakes and panoramic mountain views.
