Jasper Museums
The Jasper Yellowhead Museum and Archives features various displays and artifacts that reflect the natural and human history of the Jasper National Park area and the Yellowhead Corridor. Displays go back to the days of the early explorers of the area, the fur trade and the development of the early railroad. The museum also features a gallery dedicated to local artists.
The Alberta Forest Museum, located at the Hinton Training Centre, highlights area trees. A self-guided interpretive trail is also here (1.5 km). A brochure is available from the Training Centre which points out interesting landmarks en route. The museum is open year round from Monday to Friday.
