The Jasper-Yellowhead Historical Society promotes the awareness, understanding and the appreciation of regional heritage, both natural and cultural to the residents and visitors of the community. Ongoing and regularly-changing exhibitions. Summer (Jun - Sept) 10 am - 5 pm daily; Winter (Oct - May) 10 am - 5 pm Thurs – Sun.
This gallery specializes in fine Aboriginal and Inuit art. Soapstone, whalebone and jade sculptures by master carvers depict the rich Canadian Native culture. Original paintings and limited edition prints by Norval Morrisseau are showcased as well as jewellery set with ammolite, a colourful Alberta gemstone. Other products include Canadian diamonds (Canyon shop), souvenir shirts, moccasins and books.
